Dataspeed’s Drive-by-Wire Kit provides a unique and compatible platform for Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technologies. The By-Wire Kit allows for seamless control over a vehicle’s throttle, brake, steering, and shifting to enable testing for AV applications. Dataspeed’s growing fleet of autonomous test vehicles include the Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford F150, Ford Ranger, Lincoln Nautilus, Ford Transit, GEM e2, Lincoln Aviator, and Polaris RZR & Ranger platforms.
The iPDS enables computer control of 12 automotive independent DC relay channels with programmable startup and shutdown sequences, two long-life cooling fans, as well as internal temperature sensors for channel temperature monitoring.
